Announcing ‘Chaff’ in 2026

I would like to announce that in Autumn 2026, I will with God’s help be publishing a book of essays entitled ‘Chaff’ — the first of two works that I am finishing after years of neglect and self-doubt.

Step right up and witness the spectacle of modern humanity, dissected with a scalpel honed on coffeehouse wit and a merciless eye for hypocrisy. Adam Bond does not offer comforting platitudes or sanitized self-help aphorisms; instead, he holds a mirror to the raging chaos beneath our social veneers, exposing the rot, the folly, and the grotesque tragicomedy of contemporary life. From the very start, Bond sets the tone: there is no grand design here, no comforting myth of progress, only a raw reckoning with entropy, contradiction, and the irredeemable absurdity of our condition.

Throughout the book of 69 unsolicited essays, the author reveals a profound and unshakable clarity: humanity is absolutely, unarguably fucked. Planetary chaos, social fracture, ecological collapse — the whole wretched drama of modern ruin. And yet, paradoxically, it is in this fucked condition that life insists on being lived, and in the small, stubborn moments of tenderness and defiant hope, that meaning is wrested from the wreckage. This is no self-help manual, no sanitized manifesto, no shallow cry for change. It is a savage, unsparing, deeply humane call to embrace contradiction over congruity, to cherish the messy complexity of people over ideology, to reject facile myths for a hard-won humility, and to live in the full glare of our impermanence and absurdity.”

Below, I have attached the first 15 pages (sans the Table of Contents) as a kind of teaser… there is a comically absurd superfluity of front matter in this work and I remain unapologetic.
